1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how CoolMcSkin collects and uses information when you use the Minecraft skin search, 3D viewer, skin editor, account, upload, download, profile, and reaction features.

2. Information You Provide

If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information allowed by the sign-in scope, such as your Google account identifier, email address, display name, and profile picture. If you edit your profile, we store the nickname, profile bio, and avatar choice you save.

If you upload or publish a skin, we store the PNG file, title, description, model type, image dimensions, file hash, file size, owner account, publication status, timestamps, reactions, download counts, and related metadata needed to run the feed and detail pages.

3. Information Collected Automatically

CoolMcSkin uses an HttpOnly session cookie to keep signed-in users authenticated. The browser may also store local preferences and recent skin-search history locally on your device.

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. Cloudflare and our hosting infrastructure may process standard request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, referrer, timestamps, and error logs for security, delivery, debugging, and abuse prevention.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to provide sign-in, sessions, profiles, uploads, skin feeds, downloads, reactions, search, editor handoff, security checks, abuse prevention, analytics, troubleshooting, and service improvement.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers that help operate the site, including Google for sign-in and analytics and Cloudflare for hosting, storage, database, security, and delivery. Public profile names, avatars, bios, uploaded skins, titles, descriptions, reactions, and counts may be visible to other users when you publish content.

6. Storage And Retention

Account records, sessions, profile data, upload metadata, and reactions are stored in site databases. Uploaded skin PNGs and custom avatar images are stored in object storage. We keep information while needed to operate CoolMcSkin, comply with obligations, resolve disputes, enforce terms, and maintain security. We may remove inactive, abusive, or risky content at any time.

7. Your Choices

You can avoid account data collection by using features that do not require sign-in. You can sign out to end the current session, reset a custom avatar to your Google avatar, or contact us to request account or content deletion. Browser controls can block or clear cookies and local storage, but some features may stop working.

8. Children

CoolMcSkin is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical measures such as HttpOnly session cookies and platform storage controls. No internet service is perfectly secure, so do not upload private or sensitive information in skins, titles, descriptions, profiles, or avatars.

10. International Use

CoolMcSkin may be operated and processed through infrastructure outside your country. By using the site, you understand that information may be processed where our providers operate.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of CoolMcSkin after changes means you accept the updated policy.
